Art

Yes! I am almost done with my art project. Been working on it for almost 2 weeks now. Trying to combine some of my photographs from the Cambodia trip and the canvas I have painted together. The oil paint took forever to dry. Now, I just need to finish one more thing this weekend and it shall be done. Hopefully, I can take a picture and post it.

Is it Christmas already??

Is it Christmas already?? The snowman, the santa, the x-mas trees, etc are starting to appear all around me. Hum... I guess that is the life of retail. We are already deciding what gifting items we can bring in for the store - what crystal vase? what silverware? what barware? Decision... decision... decision.... I really just want to enjoy Spring Season instead of thinking about the holiday for once.

Simple Things In Life

Other than food, kids is another passion of my...... As an adult, we forget the simple things in life. We get up in the morning, start our day off with a daily routine that revolves around work, school, or social events, etc. But through a child's eyes, we do see the simple things. A child's innocent act tells exactly what's on his or her mind. It is not that they are careless, it is the truth that they speak. Whatever the emotion it may be, they tell you through their own action or words. From time to time, we ought to be a “kid” just to feel the simple things that we miss
out on....

From a kid who inspires me...

It's my third birthday, and today I want to be a butterfly…!

As she leaps and dances across the lawn, she knows it's her day to pretend – a butterfly she chooses to be! With a set of rainbow wings on her back, she knows she's ready to play the part! But with every step, she wonders how to be a butterfly. She punts around, looking for answers. Perhaps the plastic dragonflies will know. Nope, she doesn’t find the answers she’s looking for. “Hum…” she thinks to herself. No matter, she knows she gets to pretend today – and a butterfly she chooses.
